Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Profile information: You may optionally provide a bio, avatar, store URL, and selling platform information.
Submission data: When you submit a tool, we collect the tool details, your contact email, and any access credentials you provide for testing.
Reviews: When you write a review, we store the review content, your rating, and your account information.
Payment data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We receive transaction IDs and payment amounts from Stripe.
Usage data: We collect page views, tool clicks, and search queries to improve the platform. No personally identifiable tracking is shared with third parties.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the ClearedToLaunch service
- To process vouching submissions and communicate results
- To send transactional emails (submission confirmations, badge awarded/rejected, renewal notifications)
- To send our newsletter (only if you opt in — you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To process payments via Stripe
- To moderate reviews and prevent abuse
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Supabase: Our database and authentication provider
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Resend: Transactional email delivery
Your reviews and public profile information are visible to other users of the platform. Your email address is never displayed publicly.
4. Access Credentials Security
When you submit a tool for vouching, you may provide access credentials (login info, API keys, promo codes). These are stored securely, visible only to our review team, and deleted after the review is complete. We never share access credentials with third parties.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time through your account settings. Reviews remain on the platform but are anonymized upon account deletion.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and download your personal data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails
